Hello all, I'm new to this forum. Had the ZSEV since March and it's been great. One fault on the AC, however that was fixed by a relay or resistor change at the dealer.
During the really hot days in the summer, I worked out you could switch the car fully on, i.e. running on the hv battery, walk away with the key and the car would still be on. This allowed me to cool the car down before we got into it.
Then I tried a brief experiment, I left the key in the house and then got in the car and put it into drive. The car allowed me to move forward with no key near the car. I didn't want to test this further in case the engine decided to shut down.
Does anyone have an idea of how far you can drive without the key in this situation?
In the winter, if you have secure parking, you can use this method to pre-heat the car.
