Hello,
I would like to disable the active listening feature in my car, but I can’t find how to do it.
Is it possible, please?

I often have issues with Siri not hearing me when using CarPlay, and I think there is a conflict between the two systems

Regards

I don't have it on my ZS but info says it's activated by saying "Hello MG" or by a voice button on the steering wheel - so it should not be on by default? Don't you have to press the button each time you want MG to do something?

Hello,
Currently, there is an incompatibility issue with Siri when using Apple CarPlay on my car. Pressing the dedicated voice button on the steering wheel does activate Siri listening mode, but Siri often cannot hear the commands properly. This suggests a conflict between Siri and the MG voice command system.
On my previous car, with the same phone, this worked perfectly fine, so the problem does not come from my phone itself. The issue is also not due to a faulty microphone in the car.

When listening to music via CarPlay, I am often interrupted by the MG voice command system mistakenly detecting a keyword without any button being pressed, meaning the car seems to be in constant active listening mode. For example, just saying the word “music” during a conversation stops the music, which is quite annoying…
