used to be that if you were a cash buyer (no trade in) you would get the best deal on a new car, and first in line to get one

does anyone know what the situation is now? if you buy using the various finance options are you now handled more favourably?

do dealers have a preference?

The dealer will get additional commission for selling you the car using MG Finance - however, demand will be pretty strong for the MG4 so dealers will sell one to whoever no matter how they want to pay.

MG themselves have said that they've had a number of enquiries from the rental market for 4 figure deliveries!

Speaking to a friend who works for Toyota, they (along with most OEMs I'd imagine) are watching the MG4 very closely, so SAIC really need to get this buying process right.

Depends on the car and demand for it ... I suspect there'll not be much in the way of deals for the MG4, at least not anytime soon.

I think these days the best deals are if you take dealer finance ... as a cash buyer you can do this then pay off the finance early.
