HUAWEI P30 Bluetooth issues!

Not able to use my Huawei P 30 phone to make handsfree calls
Can some please enlighten me as, to why the MG media, screen crashes, a couple of minutes after connecting to Bluetooth, even bought a, new genuine cable
I do have a sum up card terminal in the car
Could this, be the problem?
Any ideas, any one

Hi, are you using the cable in the left socket? if so then you may not be using Bluetooth at all.

Hi Jo, Thanks for your reply , You understand I cant use the Android set up im my MG 5
Even though the right hand usb appears to be used for charging only , that you believe should be able to use the Andriod set up in this right hand port to use my phone though the cars media system ?
I mentioned my issues to the MG dealership , they claim it needs a software update , what do you think ? Thanks again

I use the left side for my phone and right side for MP3 on a USB stick.

For what it's worth I have used a Huawei P30 Pro in the car on bluetooth with no issues. My car is the standard range original model.
