Hi all

Not sure if this issue has already been addressed elsewhere.

I frequently get the message HV battery disconnected. This can be despite how much charge I have left in the battery.
is this a fault that I need to report?

How you need to know if you press the start button twice with out the foot bake been pressed this just starts some of the system and disconnect the HV battery. This is like turning your key to the first position on a ICE. If you the press the foot brake then the car will come to the ready. This is not a fault.

The car has a start up sequence that does NOT like to be rushed !.
If you try to rush it, it will complain and tell you so, by throwing up the HV error.
So, foot 🦶 hard in the footbrake and keep the pressure applied.
Now press the START button and you will feel the footbrake sink a little, keep the pressure applied !.
The car will run through the start up process by running through the modules etc.
You should get a “Bong” when the process has completed.
Now you can select a drive function !.
If you rush it, it will throw up the warning.
Try this and you should be fine.
