I smart App

Anyone else having problems with the app not connecting when checking charging status? ( I'm away from the car as it's charging at a public station) The app won't connect and keeps telling me their is a error! It's been happening loads lately. Anyone else had this problem ( Android version on my S24 ultra)

Not sure if your issue is as mine. But my car is currently in Antartica, has 9 failures, the temp is 127 degrees celsius (must be warming up quickly there...)and my battery voltage is 6553,5 V.

I always start by tapping the "status" (shield) button in the app, it usually wakes the car up enough to respond

I found the same about the status as long as it hasn't failed once already.

Also specifically when charging, it often works 10 minutes later.

I don't know if this helps but for two months the iSmart wouldn't connect with the car at all even though it was bound. I contacted [email protected] who suggested variations on "turn if off and on again":

• reinstall iSmart,
• factory reset the car! Essentially ‘restore to factory settings’ then hold the 'home button' for 10 seconds to reboot it.

The second option worked and generally iSmart now works OK with occasionally a need to retry (swipe down) in the app.
