While it may get cheaper, I don't think it is likely to drop to £25k except as a second-hand buy. I think you'll see maybe another £2k off these in the next year.

More relevant to some, perhaps, will be the leasing pricing, which is likely to come down considerably after the car has been on sale a year.

Agree, I wasn't comparing it to the 25k I paid for my X Power, coz obviously it's a more expensive car.
Can see it, dropping to 35k though.
Hopefully anyway.

Does it? Even the full price, it's less then 50 grand. So should easily qualify. It counts from last April. (I think)

Ah I thought it was from this April as it's the RRP that the car tax is based on not any discounted price

It is RRP, £50k threshold on all cars registered from 1st April 2025.
