They don't apply to affinity it's usually 6.9%

Not sure what affinity is, sorry. According to here though, all MG cars appear to be available at 2.9% and 0% if you put more than 15% down.

MG Affinity is a discount scheme run by MG, you need to meet a criteria to qualify for it (there are loads)
The only downside is the Apr is 6.9% good if you're a cash buyer or have your own finance

Yes that is true also, but as above, for the right buyer Affinity is a good scheme. Note you can typically get discounts without Affinity too, so don't be afraid to negotiate.
