We recently picked up a new IM5, and for the most part it's been great, one of the little niggles we have is with cruise control. The minimum distance to the car In front is too large for peak hour traffic (some people will literally pull out from behind you to pull in ahead of you). While annoying this is fine, our old car was the same.
However too maintain a closer difference you generally manually accelerate to maintain a closer distance, but every time you do this, the car beeps at you. (And a text warning along the lines of driver in manual control of speed)
I've gone hunting through menus but can't find any way to turn the warning off. Has anyone else had the same experience?
