Insurance cost.

I'm sure much has been discussed about the cost of insurance, but I couldn't find anything, sorry.

I needed an 'any driver over 25' policy in a bit of a hurry and ended up accepting a quote in the region of £750, which seems exorbitant to me, given I am paying £400 for a similar policy on my old HiLux. What are others paying, and who from, either for an open policy or named drivers please?

Recent thread here that may interest you although not seen anyone else talk about anything other than standard policies.

I wonder if the performance of these vehicles (i.e. relatively quick 0-60 times) has an effect when dealing with younger drivers. After all a 60bhp fiesta is a lot cheaper for a 25 year old to ensure than a 120bhp fiesta.

It isn't power related. My other car has 350PS under the bonnet but is much cheaper to insure.
