Intermittent Welcome Message

I guess most of us are used to things happening / not happening intermittently. The welcome message seems to be one of these. Is there a way, on start up, to ensure the lady speaks Her welcome?

Thanks. Sounds a long time, but I will try being patient! I have a turn off LKA message, for my wife and myself. Perhaps sitting, and wondering why I am doing nothing will remind me anyway ?

The only spanner in the works will be if you pre heat via the app, then unlock and get in before the 10 minutes are up.

I find that sometimes you won't get your welcome, your in car sos, might become faulty, or any manner of other warnings might come your way.

Don't worry just do a soft reset.

Press and hold the home button for about 10 seconds and the infotainment will go through the routine again and you " should" get the greeting.

Is there any way to get a "random" message after she announces the time and weather forecast? Ours always says the same thing which is a bit boring.

I'm not sure you can make her swear though ??

Ah - There's two. The "Hello" one in Settings/Voice you can have either random phrases or type in a phrase. The one I was asking over is the other one that says the date, time and weather forecast, followed by a cheesy reminder to drive safely.

How do you turn this off please? I have the switches off under voice settings but it still plays.

Mine has never used an 'announcement' message. Always quiet on power up and drive off.

My welcome one works randomly.
The weather one you set by the setting "broadcast".

My car often loses activation and then you get no weather. Or if it has reset a date of 2019.

R63 has a random option. But it seems that isn't what you mean...

I guess that is indeed the most useless info I could come up with.
I step in the car soaking wet at 5 past nine which is 5 minutes later than planned. Car should say "get some dry cloths. And do it quickly cause you are five minutes late".

Did the same . But r63 does not support messages and warnings in Dutch. Fun when you change to German or English.

Hi, Just in case somebody knows...I am on R63 and tried to turn the announcement off ibut it ignores me and always plays the welcome message, can even customise it - is this a bug?
