iphone issues

I've had a problem with radio getting stuck on same station (twice now) and car has been into dealer for software update on both occasions. Last time radio worked ok for four days then got stuck again!
Shortly afterwards phone did not connect to bluetooth one day, re-connected but now will not sync!
Car was back in garage yesterday, radio now works but phone still not syncing. It works but using the car for business its useful to know who is calling (yes I know some will say should not use phone whilst driving) but just annoying it works one day and not the next!
There have been no iphone updates so somewhat baffled by this.
Garage were not that helpful, technician just thought it was bluetooth not working, didn't even attempt to sync phone
Anyone got any suggested fixes for this?

Sometimes things are simple.
First of all, reboot you idevice.
Clear the car connection in your BT idevice.
Switch off you BT and clear it too in the info entertainment in the car.

Make an hard reboot info entertainment with the home button, press it for 10 scdes.
The screen will be black and back again in a minute.
You car must be in "The READY MODE"

Now open the dialogue BT between you Idevice and your car.
Normally it could be done it.
If not, clear again you BT in your Idevice & try again to synch. If my mind is correct I tried it 3 times to synch it.

When I was in R30 (first trophy) to hack the BT, I always ran "Music" App.
That is to say Music was in the car BT, after that, the idevice synch himself.
yep, strange way to see , but had worked for me until the R33.

An update for that issue exist for all MG4.
If your car runs the last infotainment update this issue is fixed.

Many thanks Labougie, took 2 attempts but syncing ok now, you have a better understanding of problem than technician at MG dealer!!
