To be fair though, most if not all cops, wouldn't even notice the suppliers name, post code and BS mark, weren't there.
As long as it had correct font and spaced correctly. I'm presuming the Green strip, isn't a legal requirement?

Oh totally agree, I tell every dealer I’ll let them stay if they pay me annual rent for using the space for advertising, curiously none have ever agreed to the deal.

No it isn't, it just identifies the car as an EV, but it's not a legal requirement.

There was talk that in the future in areas with charging zones it would be used to identify EVs if they were fee free or reduced fee, but thinking about that the reg would do that. Bloody next storm is blowing up, it’s pouring so I’m stuck in the house so too much time to think.

You could do the clock with hands trick, and hang it so it's obviously out of wack, nothing more frustrating than trying hang a clock that everyone thinks is now correct, only to take it down a few mths later to change the time or battery ....
