@Jto (and @Diggsy) I've already massaged Miles but it was after my initial post here - he is following-up a lead. I thought it was rude to ignore the subsequent assistance offered here, though. What do you mean by '...refresh back to the start...'? I would do that if I knew how.
 
you need to contact your dealership then ask them to have you car unbounded on the server from your phone, this may take a week or two my understanding unless Miles is getting it done for you as he can get it done quicker as he said on the pod cast.
once this is done then you can try to bind again but just like the day you pick it up as all the data has been cleared from the server. look at the two videos I have talk about above before doing the bind. If this doesn’t work then there is a problem and you need to take that up with the dealership service department.

Yes, I've dropped the zero. Car and app both login to my iSmart account, just no communication between them. Logging in from the car without the phone and QR code is troublesome as the country-code box is greyed out. I've come across several potential causes in this forum but I think the only one I've not been able to try is a potential MG server fault. Incidentally, passwords have to use only alphanumeric characters, apparently. My dealer claims that support is available through the app, but I've not found any.
IanMK your dealer is appalling. My dealer not only helped me to bind my car to my ismart account, but went as far as bringing a courtesy car to my house so they could take my car back to the dealership as when I picked the car up the connectivity would not work. They bought the car back the same day and ensured my ismart app connected to the car and worked properly. They are not just there to sell you a car but should ensure you can enjoy all aspects and features of the car. This is simply not good enough and you deserve to be treated better than this. Take your car back to the dealer , ask to see the most senior manager and insist they ensure your ismart is connected to your car and is working correctly. It is an integral part of the EV experience.

Picked up my Black Trophy on Wednesday, done a couple of hundred miles. Pleased with it so far...

But I have an issue with the MG iSmart app. It connects with vehicle ok and everything appears to work, but if I go to MyProfile then Alarm Settings I get a blank white screen for a second or two, then the app returns to MyProfile screen.

Anyone else seen this? My phone is Samsung S10+
