iSmart not connecting today?

Anyone else having difficulty with ISMART connecting to the car today? Had it all morning. Trying to keep an eye remotely on the charge level in the car as slow charging but having no joy.

Have tried the lock and unlock trick but had put the car on charge after a 10 mile journey this morning so it should not be asleep.

And it is parked in its normal place so should have a signal.

Just me, or a server side issue? Thanks.

I find the app is generally much more reliable these days. Although it may need a couple of refreshes or just waiting for 10 minutes now and then, I no longer need to unlock the car to get it responding again.

However, it now frequently fails while AC charging and only sometimes recovers before the charge finishes. So not just you .

As it happens I opened the app this morning - it worked fine (after doing the usual pull down refresh that I've always had to do). Yesterday it didn't work - but I hadn't used the car for a few days until last night, so the car was probably asleep.

I also get no connection between the app and the car, so I guess that their servers are down for some reason.

My iSmart connected at 08.19 this morning It is connecting but I needed to wake it up.

iSmart is a joke, mine doesn't connect even when I'm in the car and it's running. I've raised several official complaints and been brushed off every time:

• "you must have bad signal" - I've checked and there's good signal for every UK operator
• "your car must be in deep sleep" - I'd actually used it about 4hrs previously
• "you've tried to use it too many times" - how can this happen when it's hardly ever working
• "It must be your mobile phone" - what, my Pixel 8 Pro or my iPhone 15

It's feckin useless, and relies on AWS, which are also feckin useless

No issues with mine, in fact it sent me a few 'abnormalities' while they were working on my car 20 miles away.

Lost the weather update on the Home Screen now as well. ISMART still not connecting. Will have to see if tomorrow is any better.

Used mine this morning and again a few mins ago, no problems connecting and getting status.

Tried again this morning around 6am. No joy. Drove to work, about 15 miles. Parked up. No joy. Just tried again, about 2pm. Now working.

Mine didn't work yesterday afternoon (after I'd posted yesterday saying all was OK ) and didn't work this morning either. All is OK now after I've been out for a drive in the car.

Used mine almost everyday since February, always connected unless there was an internet issue.
