I wasn't going to buy a new car till next year but the guys getting silly deals got me looking and I managed to find one on Carwow. Not my first choice of colour but it was only £24k and for that price I will learn to love it

Having driven an MG5 for 4 years I had no difficulty finding my way around the S5. Found myself looking for the cruise control stalk a couple of times mind

Drove it back from Edinburgh, about 160 miles with a mix of motorway, Dual carriageway and A roads with a fair bit of rain later on. I reckon I got about 240 miles range out of it. In my normal Highland environment I should get a lot more.

Yes, I think I might have preferred a cruise control stalk. By the way I fell foul of the speed limiter when late Saturday night it picked up a 20mph sign, good job no one was behind.
