Had my HS Hybrid+ nearly three weeks and today I was sat in the car on the drive playing around with the menu like a kid at christmas etc..... I went in the MG app on my phone and as you maybe aware you can lock and unlock the car from the app as well as turn on window heaters and other stuff... so I decide to lock the doors while sat in the drivers seat and sure enough it locked the car. I then unlocked the car and sure enough it unlocked the doors....but I then put my foot on the brake and pressed the start up button and it said it didnt recognise my key... I put the key in the cup holder as it suggests and it still didnt recognise the key....I got out locked the car using the key and then unlocked it, got in and tried to start the car and it still wouldnt recognise the key. Got out again locked it went for my wifes key (left mine in the house) unlocked the car got in and it started up no problem. Got out locked it went back for MY key and everything back to normal. I then recreated everything locking via the app again and again it didnt recognise my key and I had to use my wifes. My worry is what happens if the spare key isnt around and it happens again......I know dont use the MG app when Im on my own LOL.......... but why didnt it recognise my key???
