Yep it’s driven me crackers today as the blooming thing keeps swapping screens on me and I lose the digi speedo
I always turn it off in my DAF XF

If it's switched on in the infotainment (so in standby as in your picture) you can quickly toggle it on (active) and off (standby) by pressing the button on the end of the indicator stalk.
