Just had an email from Octopus
They are dropping prices from 1st of April after the upcoming changes to charges (government taking some of these on instead of customers).
This takes 3.5p off the unit, which is nice for the peak rate. ~30.5p down to ~27.5p
But for the off peak rate that seems huge! (as a proportion)
Off-peak unit rate for Go is going to be 4.99 p / kWh
Is that right?
Is Intelligent Go dropping even lower than that?
Will be reviewed in October apparently.
We don't really need electricity from now until October but I suppose we can fill up the battery for 5p and sell for 12p during the day.
