Lightweight e-bikes, capabilities and transport

surely, the ratio of human to motor input needs to be specified, for range to make any sense.
I could get over 100kms out of my old bike, a lot of up steep hills in that as well, did the same distance for 5 yrs, if anything, it was better on the last yrs than the earlier yrs when I first got it ..... and that was without a battery ;) :LOL:

Companies really should use the phrase "range assist" on bikes instead of just range. The bike will go as far as you need it to, when the battery runs out it just becomes a bicycle (albeit sometimes a heavy one).
My reasons for upgrading are because the Engwe is too good, too powerful. Because it has the power the temptation to use it like a motorbike is too great and I don't get the exercise. Add to that the increasing chances of losing it every time I take it out.
