Photo was from this morning with switch on - I changed this Friday night so looks like it’s preserved

If you read the note on the left it says it's on! I know it looks like off?

I think you’re right. Maybe it does reset.

The note is telling you what the switch does, not that it's always on.
Select on for always on or off for not always on.
I suspect when you select off it does automatic battery heating like the ZS does.
