Maps update, how to do?

This is a 2022 model in Thailand..
I think I should use Naviextras Toolbox.
Then I should create a fingerprint, attach an USB stick and "export for update"
Tnstruction looks like this:
Navigation system, Setup, System info, Navigation and export for update.
But I can not follow that in the car.
I have also looked around to find how to do. But no luck
Can anyone help me?

Some time in 2022 & 2023 the head unit changed froma 9" screen to a 10.1" flat screen more like a Tablet.

If you have the 9", you do it like you describe using NaviExtra, the 10.1" you need to download the new map files for your region, for me in Australia I need the AU/NZ files.

The big problem is that only MG UK and MG EU seem to know about this and I have made 2 attempts to get through the Customer Care people but they obviously don't care about us customers.

Do not attempt to install maps that are not for your region, you will brick the NAV function. Been there, done that.

OK, you are in the same boat as us in AU/NZ plus Turkey and now you in Thailand, you need to chase up MG Thailand to get the maps for your zone.

This really peeves me off that MG UK & MG UE know what needs to be done but the rest of the world don't get any updates because they are too dumb to understand that the NaviExtra does not work on the 10.1" screen.
