I have feelings you know!!

If we are going to give out monthly titles to members I've got a few suggestions!

There would be a few repeat members with them, in fact it would probably be like the first world cup, the multiple repeat winner could keep it.

Some of my other ideas might be closer!!

I think top contributor is a good thing it has encouraged conversation and banter.

Place would be really dull if we didn't have a laugh

Depends if you want to be considered as part of the group that has forgotten how to have a bit of fun ...... It might be the winter blues setting in ......

Mind you, if the power was to fail and we lost the benefit of the air con ...... I might not be a happy chappy either

Not sure it's a desirable achievement.
Think it's not one of Stuart's better idea's.
Never known it on any other, car forum, I've been on.

Perhaps the monthly winner could get a one use only "get out of jail free " card , to be waved at moderators when passing the red line in any subsequent posting , just as an extra incentive or reward.

Be careful what you wish for, I own two forums over this side of the globe and sometimes there is no good way to handle a situation, so you are forced to take what you think would be the best option ......

On one of the forum, we have a section in the back room to put potentially incitive posts, then the moderator team put forward their thoughts on how to deal with it, but we leave a book mark to say that the post is under review ..... it doubles as a warning that there are lines that can be crossed and the team will take action .... generally, if the post is simply a heated brain burst, we allow the author to rewrite it and mention something about a rethink after they cooled down ..... if it's bad, the post stays in the back room folder and the author gets a warning percentage that appears on their avatar section, similar to the reaction score and that stays there for 3 mths ......we lose a few members as a result, but not everyone can get along with everyone else ......
