Hi All, Anyone know of some dates for the replacement of the MG 5, I read a while back that the new estate will be based on the MG 4 platform, was wondering if anyone know when it is due to be released as my PCP is finishing in June and I would like to get the estate for the bigger boot space?

My MG5 replacement is likely to be an Škoda Enyaq. Just need the new company car form signing off.

Full self-driving version I take it? ;-)
lol nope, no heated seats or heated steering wheel either ( but it does have a heat pump so maybe I don't need them.

Got home about 3 hours ago having driven it from South of Luton to the Highlands, 570 miles over 2 days. The paperwork says 63kwh battery but I got 330 miles the first day so I think it's the 87kwh. Though it was up the M6 and mostly 45-50mph. Loving the Gridserve chargers at Todhills services, ultra fast for only 49p per kwh.

How's the Ariya @5teep ?
See above m8. It seems to be a mix of really good stuff and really bad stuff. Overall it's a nice car to drive with no fatiguing quirks. The steering seems very light, you feel every pebble on the road and the drivers seat is quite bouncy too. Give it time with my big butt in it and it will calm down.
The ACC is like having my granny as a passenger "watch that car!!" (one hundred yards ahead).
It's the base model with as I said I think the 87kwh or it's really really efficient. Has lots of safety stuff, beeps and bongs etc. Proximity warnings on the side mirrors and sounds like a Submarine pinging when reversing.
Manual seats, ok, I'm the only one driving so no need to adjust.
Haptic controls on the dash with what look like haptic controls on the centre console but are clicky buttons, confusing.
Wireless charging shelf but no wireless charging, no wireless AA and the usb sockets are hidden right down by the floor facing away from you. Two glove boxes but tiny centre consol storage.
Car wakes up if you go near it with the key, handy in a car park full of Nissans.
It is a year old but only done 7000 miles so like new, the "manager" who had it before me registered the App in his name as the owner which means I can't use it unless I provide proof of ownership (
On the plus side he did leave me a small can of deoderant (Aldi cheapskate).

I would not buy one, even this base model as I think I'd be disappointed at what you get for your money, but I'm more than happy to drive it if someone else is paying the lease.
