MG Dealers Ireland

When I order my MG4 in December 2022 (still waiting for it), the only MG dealers in Ireland (Republic) were based in and around Dublin. Since I live in the midlands (100+ miles from Dublin), this was one of the concerns I raised before placing the order. I was reassured that MG are planning to launch 10 more dealerships around the country in 2023 but I haven't seen any evidence of that or even heard about any new dealerships 'coming soon' anywhere. Is that just me? Anyone else in Ireland heard of new MG dealerships cropping up?

I ordered my MG on Dec 29th, it was delivered for collection in March this year.
If I was you I would contact MG head office if you can to obtain official clarification on what their intention is for dealerships in Ireland. Keep in mind that they will only open one if they believe there is sufficient demand to do so in any particular area.

New MG car dealership in Sligo will create 15 jobs

Connolly Motor Group has been appointed as main dealers for MG Motor in the North West of Ireland. Connolly’s MG will open in Collooney, Sligo in June with the creation of 15 new jobs and an investment of €2m by the Connolly Motor Group.

Thanks, nearest one to me at the moment seems to be Galway - only 90 kms away! Sligo might be slightly closer when it opens? Hope one pops up in the midlands soon.
