I bought my 2025 MG ehs because I was impressed with the fuel consumption numbers and the 100 km battery. After 1 month how can I get accurate fuel usage? Should I leave it in HEV mode, comfort and do a mix of highway and city driving for one tank? Other than this I am very happy.

To my mind, any readout on the dash is an average which is compromised by how much time you spend running in each fuel.
My calculations based on actual fuel put into the car vary between 49 and 174 miles per gallon for petrol and 2.8 and 11 miles per kwh depending on whether I'm pootling around town or doing long distance down a motorway.
The only way I've been able to convince myself of the economy of the car is to add together the total costs of petrol and electricity put into the car and compare that to the same time period and similar mileage in my Opel/Vauxhall Insignia 1 5T last year.
Over 7,600 miles and six months I have saved £475 which will pay back the cost of installing the wall box in just over a year.
Apologies, but I will leave you to work out the metric equivalents. 🤔

Thanks, I think the city kWh usage is what you quote. Sport mode obviously consumes more fuel and or kWh. So the numbers are based on driving conservatively, not being enticed by the power 🤔.

The 11 miles per kwh is definitely Milton Keynes city usage, 0 to 70mph and back again between each roundabout, London is much more economical. 😇
