MG has a broken service plan site, or is trying it on at the moment.

I took out a plan, due for first service in November...£485 and change for 3 services and MOT. I am gearing up for a fight with the dealer, dunno why, I just have a feeling it's going to be more difficult than it needs to be.

I had a three year plan on my 2021 MG5 and it worked out cheaper. I then paid for the 4th service but have just got a new plan for 5th and 6th service to lock in the price.
I have just bought a 2022 MG5 with 25k milage and set up a plan for it's 4th, 5th and 6th service.

I think the service plan is pretty poor. The Kia ones I had before meant you could use any dealer and were cheaper than the individual services. The MG plan seems to be linked to one dealer and there doesn't seem to be any cost benefit. I wouldn't bother.
I just had a year 1 price from the dealer £75 more than the MG plan price (£189 vs £114). They also confirmed the MG plan you can use any dealer including them and they have a separate specific plan themselves which they have just quotes at £452 for years 2&3 services (not the year 3 MOT)!

You can use any dealer, even if you don't have the plan. And you can get 1st service a lot cheaper than your example. My X Power 1st service was £144, but I've saw cheaper than that. Depends on the dealer. What ever suits the individual. 🙂👍
