Not an MG
Hi folks . Currently driving a year old jeep compass . It’s the hybrid model . It’s a great car but a couple of things that bug me . One …i can’t connect to my mobile to monitor the car . Two …the battery for the hybrid isn’t powerful enough in my opinion . I can get to the bottom of the street them the ice will kick in . So I’ve been looking about for another hybrid and the MG HS sure ticks all the boxes . All the you tube reviews are good . I’ve also been looking at Hondas and Toyotas but they mostly put you in the high tax bracket which I point blank refuse to pay . So it looks like the MG . Hopefully will get to see one next week up in Falkirk . They really do look smart inside and out . What’s people’s honest opinion on them ? Look forward to being convinced to buy one 😎cheers Al.

I went to see one when our MG4 went in for service. Impressed, but more impressed by the PHEV. That will do up to 75 miles on its 24.7kWh battery alone.

But depends whether you have a charging point at home.

IDK how far the hybrid+ battery will get you on its own.

Looked at them but not ready to be plugging my cars in yet lol. The jeep hardly gets anywhere. But looking the YouTube videos the MG will basically keep running up to 40 mph still u run out of juice . I’ll be happy if it gets me out of the street and runs around town for a bit .
