I was watching a video on the MG I-smart on the MG ZS EV today and wondered if this will be available on the current MG5 LR? I know that it’s expected on the face lift model but having the app to control charging, heating and remote locking would be useful

There are no plans to retrofit this.

When they're already bringing out a new model that they want to sell they won't upgrade older cars...

I believe the UK models lack the required hardware to enable ismart to work.
