I have been using iSMART v2.2.1 since February and it is generally OK. Today it wouldn't run and I get this message on my Android: 'MG iSMART closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error'. I reloaded it from theGoogle Play Store (v2.2.1 is still current) but still get the same message. I note the app has a 1.9 rating, don't think I have ever seen an app with such a poor rating! Any one else getting this error?

In the UK the app is still 3.0.0 so perhaps your local version has not had our changes.

However, it may be that your phone has a corrupted cache so you could try deleting that. After that deleting the User Data but that will log you out of the app. Finally deleting and reloading.

Unlikely but if you have other phone problems it could have a virus.

Can confirm UK app at 3.0.0 and works fine. Delete , clear phone cache and re-install/pair.

Aussie version is still 2.2.1. Today mine is working, but not reporting EV management.
When started, the front page reports charge % but if I go into battery management charge state changes to - -

So I cleared the cache, deleted data and reloaded the app. Same error. No problems with any other aspects of the phones performance. I loaded the app onto another household Galaxy (an older model) that was also paired and it worked first time perfectly! So that is the workaround I guess. I can also confirm that the front page reacts exactly as reported by 'decrep'.

Mine just updated to 2.2.2 (realised because I got the token expired message). But nothing notable has been added that I can see. Maybe the rescue call button at the bottom of the screen?

Looks like AUS 2.2.2 is UK 3.0.0.

Similar problem with EV management not showing battery percentage initially but after I reduced the charge level (and app reported failed but did it) the EV management page showed the battery percentage and mileage.

I don’t have issues with the app most of the time (the occasional glitch that’s fixed with a forced close pretty much) but I do wish we would get more functionality as people in Europe/UK seem to get, like turning on heated seats remotely for instance.
