MG iSMART app not working

So I haven’t used my car in over a day and the app wasn’t connecting, I assumed this was due to me not using the car but I just drove it round a bit and when I got back the app still wouldn’t connect. Is anyone else having this problem. The sos light shows green which I assume means it has signal and the app has worked fine before at home despite the bad signal where I live.

I found out today it wanted me to decline the privacy policy thing on the mg4 then accept it again (including the 3 boxes you have to scroll to)
