Can you switch THE MG PILOT OFF altogether, most of my driving is local, no motorways, because sometimes iit takes over
my wife says its very frightening. Thanks

Yes, just make sure the lower stalk on the left hand side of the steering wheel is pushed fully forward.

You can turn it off in the car settings, but it defaults back to "ON" the next time you start the car.

Is it Pilot or lane assist that is on ?

I have both on, I have switch the pilot off everytime I start the car

LKA stays off though once you turn that off in the settings.

Yep, turn off that horrible lane assist in all forms otherwise you spend all your time fighting it.
