MG S5 Apple Carplay/UI freezing

I've only just noticed that there is a data toggle switch on the pull down drawer, so if this happens again we can disconnect from the network in two clicks.

I have a Trophy but also didn’t have this issue.

I’ve not been using CarPlay recently and don’t really use the voice control.

From what I understand CarPlay requires the voice control to be available, and I suspect Android Auto may be the same.

Is there anyone who experienced the issues who doesn’t use CarPlay/Android Auto?

I have a Trophy and have not suffered any of these issues.

I have a Trophy but I did have the problems. Seems to be ok now. I phoned my dealer and they claimed to know nothing about it and had no communication from MG.

Not having been out in my pride and joy since Thursday I'm not sure whether I was affected. However, 4G reception where I am is extremely patchy and so I might have gotten away with it.
