MG ZS 2020 only charged at speed of 22 kW

Charging speed using CCS 150 khw at charging station for MG ZS 2020 only charged at speed of 22 khw. So l had waite 2 hours to charge me EV. I always thought it would charge around 50 khw speed if you are using fast CCS chargers at charging stationed. Does anyone else have similar Issue. This is first time l used charging station but not happy with time it takes charge vehicle there. What average speed a fast CCS chargers supposed too charge at? My vehicle has 45 khw battery.

Does anyone else had similar Issue like mine

Your charge speed at a rapid is based on alot of things:

• your starting state of charge
• available power to the charger (not all have their full rating available to them to use)
• ambient temperature
• battery temperature

You need to try another couple of rapid chargers on different networks tosee if you get a better figure.
What percentage did you start at and was the car cold?
