MG ZS EV 3rd Most Sold Car in Norway in October

Thought it might be of interest to provide some registration numbers for the MG ZS EV here in Norway, as I think the numbers are impressive.

MG was number 3 in October with 586 cars registered, number 1 was VW's ID3 with 2 475 while number 2 was Toyota with 706 RAV 4's. Total MG ZS EV registrations for Jan - Oct 20 are 2 718. By way of a comparison, total number of Fords registered so far this year is 2831.

The Luxury version with metallic paint is priced at 265 000 NOK which is approx. GBP 21 500 at the current exchange rate, which is very high at the moment. As an FYI Electric vehicles are currently exempt from VAT.

I’m assuming those RAV 4’s are Prime PHEVs? So it’s number 2 BEV in Norway

Yes predominantly PHEV's not Hybrid. However, as a BEV has to be 100% electric, this means the MG was number 2 best selling "BEV" car in October.

It’s a good car that has a unique place in the EV market. Glad I bought one earlier this year.
