MG ZS EV Boot Badge Handle

I have had my 2022 ZS for over 6 months of pleasurable motoring.
The first problem to crop up is the MG Badge Handle has stopped springing back when used. This isn’t a major issue but has sometimes caused the boot latch to disengage when I unlock the door.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a warranty job and most importantly a quick fix as it is my only car. Dealer was Glynn Hopkin Milton Keynes.

Only a bit of oil on the latch/handle or a spray with some other lubricant, some have used silicone spray.
