Hi.

The chrone on top of the gear selector (circular control for changing to D N or R) has started to bubble. Would this be covered with the warranty?

In my experience it’s the kind of thing most dealers will take photos of and send it off to the UK HQ for a warranty claim. You are then at the whim of their judgement on whether they call it fair wear and tear or they replace it under warranty.

And in my experience of a prematurely worn seat in a Mazda, and corrosion in an alloy wheel in a Hyundai, I wouldn’t hold out much hope.

There are members on the forum who have had this issue on a few ZS EV Gen 1 models.
I think in most cases the chrome dial trim has just been replaced either FOC or under warranty by the dealer, because it is a fairly cheap item anyway, and is attached by two sided tape if I remember correctly ?.
Here is the thread that covered this subject a while back now.
There are some pictures of a bezel that peeled away.
