MG ZS EV luxury navigation & map data version

Hello, I bought my MG ZS EV luxury in Belgium 2024.
My car had a 1st year inspection yet and all software should have been updated.
In the info I read now:
Navigation version: 6.2.60.1.39689-P
Map Data Version: HERE_EU_22Q2 202208040318
Are these the latest versions? if not, what are the latest versions?

I don’t think that sat nav is updated by dealerships. You need to download new versions from the MG website on to a USB and do it yourself. I don’t know the latest one, but from other posts it’s usually well behind the current date.

I don’t use the in-built sat nav, preferring Apple or Google maps via CarPlay, which is always up to date.

I use as well Google maps in Android Auto......... but I want to have the latest version of the navigation because we pay for yearly inspection. Moreover Google maps is also in Dutch (MG navi not)
I trying now to update the nav myself.........without succes. Still in contact with MG Europe to find a solution.

There have been posts on here with answers to possible problems with downloading and updating the sat nav. Try a search on this forum.

Can you change Google maps language to your own.

• Open the Google Maps app on your phone or tablet.
• Tap your profile picture or initial.
• Go to "Settings".
• Tap "Navigation settings".
• Select "Voice selection".
• Choose your desired voice and language.

Indeed, the language in Google Maps can be set in * Dutch * but the navi in MG ZS EV does not have the Dutch option.

I'm a big fan of Waze but as a backup I wanted to update the maps to the latest version. Naviextras disn't recognise my car VIN but I stumbled on the German MG wesbite which led me to their map update: User manuals which mercifully is in English. Can't tell if I have the Comfort or the Luxury edition of the car. Dealership is as helpful as a chocolate fireguard.

Map update 2023 Q4 - Luxury Edition

So your car does NOT have the latest available map.

To get it, go to

Enter your VIN and download the file that fits your vehicle

Please bear in mind this is a USB update, you download the file, unpack it onto a USB drive and stick that in the USB-A socket in the car and go to into the infotainment screen and start the update.

I never use the built in Satnav, but i always want my stuff to be up to date, for backup purposes, if my phone dies or loses connection for some reason.
