MG ZS EV Traffic Car Creep

I never understood the point of auto-hold. If I'm at an intersection, I just keep my foot on the brake. It's not like you have to push very hard to hold the car. And in a traffic jam, the traffic jam assist works well. So I have auto hold disabled permanently.
I didn't like Auto hold on my old ZS, it was a bit jerky on take off and too easy to accidentally knock it off if my foot caught the accelerator pedal.
I only use it in traffic with the MG4 not at junctions it's smoother in the 4.
The advantage is if you get rear ended, Auto hold will hold the car whereas if you have your foot on the brake, the sudden forward motion may cause you to release the brake pedal and move forward into the car in front.

Auto hold is very good in traffic up steep hills .. but whatever suits I guess
