Hi,

We are considering an ex-leased MG ZS from 2020 that drove 40.000km. The body, wheels and seats looks very good as new.

However there is some rust under the charging port that makes me wonder what is going on, or if it's a known issue.

The dealer had another MG (2021) that did not have the rust, should we look elsewhere?

In a word yes.
There may have been a repair or replacement of the charge port in the past which was not properly re instated.

I wouldn't touch a car so young with rust anywhere and especially not as obvious as that.

There's plenty about. Walk away.
(Just my opinion of course)
