MG3+ Outdated or updated Sat nav?

Hi. Has anyone any information regarding the nav updates? My new hybrid is currently running 'Map version 2023 Q2 HERE EU&UK' It's also dated Feb19 2024?
By this, I assume the map data must be way out of date and there's nothing on the MG website to indicate when an update will be available. My vehicle is a new MG3 Trophy registered september 2024

Check the MG4 board ... people have links to the 2023 Q4 maps. (I'm assuming the MG3+ will use the same map files).

Given the functionality (or lack of!), I would recommend Wayz or Google maps via carplay on your phone!
Much easier to use, has traffic info, and voice activation...

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure downloading MG4 map updates and installing on an MG3+ will work. Updates provide MG with the opportunity to make some changes or improvements to a vehicle internal data, so maybe it's a bit risky as both are totaly different models of course.

My mg3 bought nov 24 had q2 23 maps i updated to q2 24 via naviextras but you have to register as mg3 2023...then it recognised my head unit and the 7 year subscription was there..it's a little fiddly but it can be done..I used 35g usb stick but it has to be formatted to fat32...also it's an older toolbox that you download when you register..be patient when you put stick into usb after you have prepared it with the fingerprint from the car..there are tutorials too..good luck

Success done my 2024 mg3 Hybrid map update also. Used the latest Naviextras toolbox v5.25 and updated from map version 2023 Q2 to the latest available 2024 Q2 maps. Be patient as its says please wait for many minutes while installing in car
