Reading around seems these adapters are not working on MG4 MY23 models? Basically those built after end of March 2023. Anyone know if there's a way around this? Not sure if its to do with the new ones being single phase only affecting the connections? I have no knowledge on this stuff, just trying to see if there's another option?

Ok thank you, I have no clue what the problem is, I only know others report them not working on 2023 models, and I'm reluctant to buy without knowing there's a solution.
You could check with the supplier first. evcables.com have a live chat facility.

It seems that V2L adapters are very simple things, but the car is very picky about the value of the resistor (I guess that resistance is what signals to the car that what's plugged in wants to be a V2L adapter).

And I've heard of people buying ones from Alibaba etc. that have the wrong resistor, so don't work. So it's a bit of a gamble. I feel that being so simple, if they work, they're safe. So buying a cheap one is OK; be prepared to either pay for a dud, or deal with the returns process if it doesn't work out.
