Hi! Just got my MG4 Standard (MY23) yesterday, and it's my first EV.

Wonderful first impressions overall but I really dislike the fact that as soon as I release the brakes the car starts accelerating on its own, without me pressing the accelerator. Is there an option to disable this feature?
I need to manoeuvre the car to get it in my garage, and it's quite nerve-racking when switching between Reverse and Drive repeatedly.

Thank you in advance!

Turn on autohold, and press your brake pedal in a bit further.
Auto hand brake will then stop the car moving.

As above - the only caveat is that selecting reverse will cause the car to start moving right away.

However the moving speed with no throttle is only 3 mph. ?‍♂️

Presumably one pedal driving would do the trick. It did on my old i3.

To put the car in reverse you need to be on the brakes so shouldn't start straight away due to foot position?

I've seen this several times on this forum, but mine often doesn't start right away when put in reverse. Probably because I usually park on a hill and hill start assist has automatically applied a brake.

As you have to put your foot on the brake to select forward or reverse don't take your foot straight off the brake but release it gently until the car starts to move and control the speed using the brakes.
