MG4 drivers side footwell panel and dashcam installation

Hi guys,

I went to halfords today to get a front and rear dash cam installed on my MG4. They said that because there is no plastic panel above the footwell on the drivers side, they will not be able to install the dash cam for safety reasons (they can't just tape the wire of the dash cam). They said I will need to buy the panel and rebook the dash cam installation.

I have looked everywhere but I can't seem to find this panel online. Anyone know where I can buy this?

You might find one from someone who's breaking an MG4 but have you tried your dealer?

I didn't route mine under that tray, there's too many connectors and wires. I went into the side panel on the right, in behind the carpet on the firewall (there's a few brackets under there that you can hook onto to stop the cable coming out), into the first panel to the left of the pedals and then ran the cable out to the power socket along the side.
I used one of those 3m cable clips to hold the 6 or so inches of cable showing against the panel beside the power socket.
