Just installed these bonnet struts to my MG4 with a couple of slight upgrades.
I superglued a nylon washer to the face of the nuts that hold the ball joints to the bonnet to stop the nuts scratching the paint and put a bit of threadlocker on each thread.
I also added an extra repair/penny washer between the nut and the underside of the hole for the wing ball joint to help with spreading the load and also threadlocked the nut.
Finally a slight smear of silicon grease on each ball joint before assembly.
