Did you set your favourites in the iSmart app or in the car?

I saved my HOME and WORK addresses as favourites while I was away from both of these locations and then travelled HOME. I also saved 2 additional addresses which I was not located at and did not travel to.
The next day all 4 locations had disappeared from the favourites.
Is this normal for the MG software as it seems very buggy in a way I have never seen with any of my previous cars?

Dont get me started on the iSmart app as after 4 weeks of owning the car I still cannot get the car to bind to the iSmart App. I took the car back to the dealership yesterday where it has spent most of its time since I purchased the car and the sales person could not make it work either and said "I have never seen this error before so it will need a tech expert" .

The way that works for me is on the infotainment screen in the car to bring up the navigation screen, tap the magnifying glass icon, type in the address and tap find before selecting the correct one if it offers a selection, in the smaller box that appears in the bottom left tap the favourite icon. The address should then be stored in favourites.

After another discussion with the service department the car is going back into the dealership next week for another 2 days but if past experience is anything to go by this is likely to end up being 7 to 10 days.
I got a reply from MG Customer service department telling me that if I did all of the following I would be able to bind the car to the iSmart app:-
1. Car needs to be connected to Wifi
2. Privacy settings need to be accepted
3. Data traffic needs to be enabled
All of these settings were already enabled and it still didnt work
