Simple query, can't see how to input a space when entering an address in the sat nav

Simple query, can't see how to input a space when entering an address in the sat nav

The space bar is the long bar at the bottom of the keyboard that says English on it.

That's what I thought but when I press it, it wants me to change language

Nonetheless when I press either the "world" sign or the spacebar, it switches to keyboard layout language options. Should I do reset? I worry that resetting the infotainment system removes updates.
