I posted this question in the other thread (diagnostic VDI) but I think here is more pertinent. A moderator can delete one or the other based on which topic is more relevant (sorry).

Question regarding BCM and ESCL. Should I update the configuration file ? Because SIPS says this should not be updated unless there is a problem and also asks for a verification code (I know where to get it). But I wouldn't mess if SAIC says it's not really needed. Otherwise all other modules match the manufacturer database.

What is your experience with this or what do you recommend?

LE: finally I also updated the configuration files as I still had some hours left of access and didn't want to pay again in a few days.
