Mg4 speed recognition

The speed recognition on my mg4 se has been pretty much faultless since I bought it in March. Now it seems to think all signs are 30mph. This isn't a "side road" issue as it used to be accurate on the same stretches of road.
Any idea what could be wrong?

Enjoy that it has been good.
I have accepted that mine is not able to tell a speed sign from a water melon

It clearly has the capacity to be accurate so something must have gone awry. The sensor I guess. Oh well, I turn it off most of the time anyway because the constant beeps are a PITA!

Maybe this is a regional thing, but mine absolutely sucks. In a 30 zone, it recognizes 120, and so on — it’s pretty much always wrong. Thank God I don’t have the new version with this EU nonsense, where the car will beep at you for going 1 km/h above the recognized speed limit (which is usually never correct). Hope they fix it with a software update.

Check the windscreen area in front of the camera, make sure there are no dead bugs or small chips/cracks blocking the view.

what model and year is your car? has there been a software upgrade recently.

Since my infotainment got updated to r67 I think it got a lot better. Still not perfect but I would say its now ok.
