Hi all, I'm picking up a two year old MG4 Trophy LR next week. Can somebody tell me what original equipment would have been supplied as standard.
e.g. charging leads, V2L cable, anything else?
I'd like to know what I should be expecting.

Hi @mgpete, welcome to the forum, it probably had a Type-2 charging cable from new, and the dealer should supply you with one if it hasn't, it should have an emergency tyre repair/inflator kit, and check if it's had locking wheel nuts fitted, if so you'll need to have a key/socket to remove them.

Note that a car handbook is not supplied - it is an online manual only, unless you print it off or buy from someone selling a printed copy.

Also, there's no service book. It is all electronic servicing so the records are held on MG's computers. An MG dealer should be able to print it off to give you a copy.

V2L adapter was always an optional extra.

There would have been a "Certificate of Conformance" in the glovebox originally, stating information about the car including manufacturing date. But these often go missing.

Some dealers supplied little credit card sized AA recovery cards giving details of the AA-recovery cover. This is included free if the car is serviced with an MG dealer (it is renewed for a year at each service).

You should be expecting a great driving experience, lots of fun, a fair bit of nerdery (if that blows your hair back), and a shedload of smiles - enjoy your new wheels

User guide is in the infotainment system and on the app.
I just got the granny charger and the puncture repair kit with mine, which is the standard kit.
Some dealers were handing out type 2 to type 2 cables in place of the granny or even both.
